19-Year-Old Killed In Shooting In Cleveland
Police said one man is in custody after an early-morning shooting on Sunday.

CLEVELAND — A 19-year-old was shot to death in Cleveland on Sunday. Police said they have one suspect in the shooting in custody.
At 1 a.m. on Sunday, callers reported gunshots fired on E. 103rd Street. Police were told a woman had been shot.
When officers arrived, they found the 19-year-old with gunshot wounds to her head and torso. They gave her first aid until EMS arrived and took her to University Hospitals, where she was later pronounced dead.

On Monday, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office identified the 19-year-old as Catera Fowler.
Investigators learned Fowler was shot after a fight happened inside the Legacy Entertainment Complex on Union Avenue. Security at that business ordered everyone out.

As everyone was exiting the complex, one man was shot in the leg. He turned and began firing into the crowd and hit Fowler, police believe.
The shooter was taken to University Hospitals to be treated for his gunshot wound. He was later taken into custody by police.
Cleveland police said the suspect is Eric White Jr., 26. He was treated for a gunshot wound at University Hospitals, but was released by Sunday night.
Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office are both taking part in the investigation into the shootings.
