19-Year-Old Shot In Popeye's Parking Lot In Cleveland: Police
Police believe a 19-year-old was killed after a shooting in a fast food restaurant's parking lot.
CLEVELAND — A 19-year-old was killed after a shooting in a parking lot, Cleveland police announced.
At 10 p.m. on Saturday, police were sent to Avalon Road for a man who had been shot. When officers arrived they found a 19-year-old inside a car parked at a deli on Euclid Avenue. He had been shot multiple times. Officers pulled the man from the car and gave him first aid until EMS arrived.
The 19-year-old was then pronounced dead in the parking lot.

Investigators believe the 19-year-old was shot in the parking lot of a Popeye's. The 19-year-old was driven to the restaurant by another person. Police believe the duo were trying to buy a gun. When the sale went awry, the 19-year-old was shot and the driver sped away and crashed in the deli parking lot, police said.
The driver was later found by police and interviewed, officers said.

The suspected shooter was taken into custody on Saturday by Euclid police. He had been shot in the leg during the incident, police said.
