2 Brothers Killed In Shooting In Cleveland

Police said the brothers were in the driveway of their home when they were shot by masked men.

CLEVELAND — Two brothers were shot to death in Cleveland on Thursday morning, police announced.

At 1:30 a.m., police were called to a home on Walden Avenue, on Cleveland's east side. Officers were told shots had been fired in the area.

When officers arrived, they found a 22-year-old in the driveway. He had been shot multiple times and was declared dead on the scene.

His brother, a 26-year-old, was in the driver's seat of a Jeep. He had also been shot multiple times and was taken to University Hospitals for treatment. He later died from his injuries.

Police learned the 22-year-old was standing the driveway, talking to his brother, before the shooting. Investigators believe two unidentified men approached the brothers and shot at them before running away.

The suspects were both wearing masks, police said.

The killings remain under investigation.
