2 Dead After Fatal Car Accidents In Cleveland
Police are investigating two separate and deadly car accidents which happened over the weekend.
CLEVELAND — Police are investigating two deadly car crashes which happened on Friday evening in Cleveland. The crashes were unrelated but left two people dead.
At 6 p.m. on Friday, a 2000 GMC Yukon drove off I-90, near W. 44th Street. The truck rolled several times before coming to a stop. The driver, a 47-year-old woman from South Euclid, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Police said they do not yet know why the woman lost control of the Yukon.

An hour later, on the east side of Cleveland, there was a multi-vehicle accident. A pickup truck was turning left onto Harvard Avenue, from E. 55th, when two motorcycles slammed into the vehicle.
Police said one motorcycle rider, a 25-year-old Cleveland man, was pronounced dead on the scene. The other rider had her injuries treated at a hospital.
