  1. A 9-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl were struck by a car in Public Square on Friday night. The two children were hit in front of the Key Bank Tower and were taken to MetroHealth Hospital in unknown condition. The driver remained on the scene, according to Cleveland Police Department; the cause of the crash is still under investigation. (Cleveland 19 News)
  2. It has now been 51 weeks since the first shipments of the COVID-19 vaccine were sent out to states, kicking off the largest vaccination campaign in human history. But how is the Buckeye State faring? As of Dec. 9, 79.5% of allocated vaccines have been administered to Ohio residents, in line with the national average of 81.1% and the 24th smallest share of all states.
