2 Killed In Car Crash In Cleveland On Valentine's Day

A car drifted out of its lane causing a three-car accident on E. 93rd on Friday night, police said.

CLEVELAND — Two people were killed in a car crash in Cleveland on Valentine's Day. Police said they are not sure yet what caused the crash.

At 8 p.m., a Kia Forte driving north on E. 93rd was speeding and then drifted left of center. Police said they don't know why the car left its lane.

When the Kia went left of center, it hit a Toyota Camry going south on E. 93rd. The Camry spun and then hit another car.

The driver of the Camry and a passenger in the Kia were pronounced dead at the site of the crash, police said.

Everyone else involved in the crash were taken to local hospitals with "varying degrees of injury," a Cleveland police spokesperson said.

Detectives are still investigating the crash.
