2 Killings Being Investigated In Cleveland

Police are looking into the shootings of a 21-year-old and an 18-year-old.

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating two killings that happened on Thursday and Friday. The victims were a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old man. Police have identified one suspect for one shooting and haven't identified a suspect for the other killing.

On November 8, callers said a man had been shot on W. 84th Street. When officers arrived they found a 21-year-old man and began to give him first aid. EMS took him to MetroHealth Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

Investigators learned the 21-year-old had been in an argument with a woman inside a home on W. 84th. Witnesses then heard a gunshot. Police believe the suspect then ran out of the house.

The homicide unit is investigating the killing. Anyone with information should contact police at 216-623-5464.

Then, on November 9, at 4:30 a.m., police were called to E. 175th Street for reports of a man shot. When officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds. EMS arrived and pronounced the man dead on the scene.

Police learned a suspect came into the 18-year-old's home and shot him. The suspect then ran off.
