2-Year-Old Son of Cleveland Police Officer Dies of Gunshot Wound
The boy died from his injuries at MetroHealth hospital.

CLEVELAND, OH — A 2-year-old boy, who is the son of a Cleveland police officer, died as the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Friday, according to multiple news reports, citing police.
The boy died in surgery at MetroHeath, Cleveland.com reports.
According to police, the incident occurred around 10:20 a.m. at the 3800 block of Library Avenue. Police say that the boy found his father's service weapon and shot himself. The boy's older brother was with him when the gun went off according to neighbors reports wkyc.com.
