20-Year-Old Killed After Crashing Into Utility Pole
Police said a 20-year-old woman was killed when she crashed her car into a utility pole. Another woman was hurt in the crash.
CLEVELAND — A 20-year-old woman was killed in a car accident on Thursday night in Cleveland.
At 11 p.m. on Thursday, a car crashed into a utility pole on E. 55th Street. It's not yet clear what caused the accident, police said.
The 20-year-old was driving a Mazda 3. She had a a 57-year-old woman in the passenger seat. Police said the passenger broke her arm in the crash and was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.

The 20-year-old was taken to St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead. She has been identified as Rosa Dearing, of Cleveland, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner announced on Friday morning.
Police said members of the accident investigation team and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office are participating in the investigation.
