22-Year-Old Found Dead In Field In Cleveland

Police said a 22-year-old with a gunshot wound to his chest was found in a vacant lot.

CLEVELAND — A 22-year-old man was found shot to death in a vacant lot in Cleveland on Sunday.

Callers said they found a man in a field on E. 138th Street. He had been shot in the chest. When police and EMS arrived, the man was given first aid. He was then taken to University Hospitals, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the 22-year-old was in an argument with another person, which may have prompted the shooting.

Police said "suspect information" is not available "at this time."
