22-Year-Old Found Shot To Death In Car In Cleveland

Police are looking for witnesses to the killing.

CLEVELAND — A 22-year-old woman was found shot to death in her car on Saturday morning.

At 2:40 a.m., callers reported that a woman had been shot on E. 176th Street. Officers found the woman in the driver's seat of her car. She had been shot in the neck.

Police gave the woman first aid until EMS arrived and rushed her to University Hospitals. Doctors later declared the woman dead.

Detectives have interviewed several people but no witnesses to the shooting have come forward. Members of the Homicide Unit are taking part in the investigation.

On Monday morning, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the 22-year-old as Britney Hardwick, from Cleveland.
