22-Year-Old Woman Killed In Cleveland Shooting

Police said the woman was found in the driver's seat of a car. She had been shot in the neck.

CLEVELAND — A 22-year-old woman was found shot to death inside a car in Cleveland on Saturday.

Police found the woman in a car parked outside a home on E. 176th Street. She was in the driver's seat of the car. She had been shot in the neck.

Officers gave the woman first aid until EMS arrived. The woman was taken to University Hospitals, where doctors pronounced her dead.

The Cleveland police homicide unit is taking part in the investigation. Detectives interviewed several people but no one witnessed the shooting, according to a department spokesperson.
