24-Year-Old Found Bleeding In Cleveland Street
Police said the man died after being shot in the leg. He was found on Cornelia Avenue on Friday morning.

CLEVELAND — At 1:20 a.m. on Friday, callers on Hecker Avenue told police shots had been fired in their neighborhood. Officers searched the area and found a 24-year-old man in the street on Cornelia Avenue with a gunshot wound to his left leg.
Officers gave the man first aid until EMS units arrived. The man was taken to University Hospitals where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators believe the 24-year-old was shot on E. 74th Street and then moved himself to Cornelia Avenue. Police do not yet have any suspects in the killing.

Members of Cleveland police's homicide unit are taking part in the investigation, police said. The killing is still under investigation.
