24-Year-Old Shot To Death At Cleveland Liquor Store
Police said they took the suspected shooter into custody in a Northeast Ohio suburb a day after the incident.

CLEVELAND — A 24-year-old man was shot to death at a liquor store on Lee Road in Cleveland on Friday evening, police announced. The accused shooter was taken into custody in Independence on Saturday.
On Friday, at 6:20 p.m., police were called to a liquor store in the 4000 block of Lee Road. When officers arrived they found the 24-year-old inside the store with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
Investigators learned the 24-year-old was in line at the store, waiting to pay for his items, when two men and a woman walked in. One of the men got into an argument with the 24-year-old, which became a physical fight. One of the men then pulled out a gun and shot the 24-year-old, a police spokesperson said.

The two men and one woman then ran out of the store, police said.
The Cleveland police homicide unit, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office and the Cleveland police Gang Impact Unit investigated the shooting. On Saturday, the Gang Impact Unit located the accused shooter and took him into custody.

Police said the shooter is a 17-year-old Cleveland resident.
The shooting is still under investigation.
