25-Year-Old Killed In Motorcyle Accident In Northeast Ohio
The 25-year-old crashed his motorcycle into a concrete barrier and was thrown from his bike, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
VALLEY VIEW, OH — A 25-year-old Georgia man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday night in Cuyahoga County, the Ohio State Highway Patrol announced.
The crash happened at 9 p.m. near I-480 east on the Valley View bridge. The driver veered off the road, hit a concrete barrier and was thrown from his motorcycle, the highway patrol said. He was declared dead at the scene.
The 25-year-old has since been identified as Kevin Finch, from Augusta, Georgia. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to law enforcement.

The events leading up to Finch's crash are still under investigation, but the highway patrol believes Finch may have been speeding.
Portions of I-480 were shut down for 2 hours while investigators cleared the scene. Valley View police and fire, Independence police and Brooklyn Heights police all aided the investigation.
