29-Year-Old Woman Shot To Death Inside Cleveland Home
Police said they believe the woman's ex-boyfriend got into her house and shot her multiple times.
CLEVELAND — A 29-year-old woman was shot to death on Sunday morning on Cleveland's east side, police announced. The woman's ex-boyfriend is suspected of killing her.
At 11:30 a.m., police were called to a home on Mt. Auburn Avenue, just off Woodhill Road. When officers arrived, they found the 29-year-old woman inside a house. She had been shot multiple times.
A 28-year-old woman was found outside the house. She had not been shot, but was hurt after she jumped off a second floor porch to escape the shooter, police said.

The 29-year-old was rushed to University Hospitals where she was pronounced dead. The other woman was seen by doctors, treated and released.
The Cleveland police homicide unit is leading the investigation. Officers believe the 29-year-old's ex-boyfriend came into the Mt. Auburn house and began shooting. The 28-year-old jumped off a porch to escape.
