3 Shootings On Friday Night In Cleveland
Police are investigating three shootings in Cleveland and an assault which happened Friday night in Cleveland.
CLEVELAND — Three people were shot in two separate incidents in Cleveland on Friday night, police announced.
At 9:50 p.m., in the Tremont neighborhood, a 22-year-old man was shot in the ankle. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment, police said.
In the same area, a 22-year-old woman was also grazed by a bullet. She was driven to Lutheran Hospital for treatment. No other details on the shooting were immediately available, police said.

The evening's final shooting happened at 11 p.m. on E. 78th. While watching TV in his home, a 76-year-old man was grazed by a bullet. The bullet then struck his TV.
The man suffered minor injuries to his head but refused to go to the hospital. EMS treated him at his home, police said.

Police are also investigating an assault which occurred on W. 32nd on Friday night. A 25-year-old woman was hit in the neck with a shovel. The woman's attacker ran off before police could apprehend him, according to police reports.
