31-Year-Old Shot, Killed On Cleveland's East Side

CLEVELAND — A man was shot at a house on Cleveland's east side on Tuesday. He died from his injuries on Wednesday, police announced.

At midnight on Tuesday, police were called to a home on Lenacrave Avenue for reports of a shooting. Officers found a 31-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. He was rushed to University Hospitals for treatment.

The man died from his wounds on Wednesday, police announced. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has received the man's body and has identified him to family.

A second man was also hurt in the shooting, police said. He was driven to Southpoint Hospital in a private car.

Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit are leading the investigation.
