32-Year-Old Woman Found Shot On Cleveland Sidewalk

The woman was shot multiple times in the head and later died from her injuries, police said.

CLEVELAND — A 32-year-old woman was shot to death on Wednesday night in Cleveland, police announced.

At 9:40 p.m., police found the woman on a sidewalk outside a home on E. 95th Street. She had been shot multiple times in the head.

Officers gave the woman first aid until EMS arrived and took the woman to University Hospitals. Doctors later pronounced the woman dead, a Cleveland police spokesperson said.

Investigators believe the woman was at the One Stop Shop on St. Clair when a man stole her cell phone. The woman chased the man out of the store and onto the street. The man eventually turned and shot the woman in the head, police believe.

No arrests have yet been made.
