$348 Million Jackpot For Ohio Powerball, Plus Winning Numbers

CLEVELAND, OH — The next Powerball jackpot will be for $348 million, the Ohio Lottery said. The contest will hold its next drawing on Wednesday. The Mega Millions jackpot will be for $265 million, with its next drawing held Tuesday.

Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. eastern time. If you go to bed before then, check with Patch in the morning for the winning Powerball numbers.The drawings for the Ohio Mega Millions are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. Pools for the drawing close at 10:45 p.m.

Drawings for both contests were held on Friday and Saturday. The winning numbers for both contests are below.

• Mega Millions winning numbers — 24-28-42-60-64-8
• Powerball winning numbers — 13-17-25-36-40-5

Drawings for Mega Millions are broadcast on WGN or can be seen on the Mega Millions website. Winning numbers will then be displayed after the drawings. If there are multiple winning tickets, the jackpot is divided equally among the winners.

For Powerball, here are the odds: the Ohio Lottery says a person has one in 292,201,338 odds of winning. On the bright side, about one in 40 people will win $4, just for matching the red Powerball. So that's something.
