38-Year-Old Woman Killed In I-90 Car Crash

Cleveland Police said the woman's car was hit on I-90 west and sent careening onto North Marginal Road, where the car hit a utility pole.

CLEVELAND — A 38-year-old woman was killed in a car crash on I-90 on Sunday evening, Cleveland Police said.

The crash happened on I-90 west, at approximately 5 p.m. Police believe an SUV clipped the right side of a four-door Mazda. The crash sent the car careening off the highway.

The Mazda drove off I-90, through a chain link fence, and onto North Marginal Road where the car hit a utility pole. The 38-year-old woman was a passenger in the car. She was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

The driver of the four-door Mazda, along with a 16-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center by EMS. The group were confined at the hospital due to their injuries, police said.
