39-Year-Old Found Shot To Death In Crashed Car In Cleveland

Police said the man had been shot in the head and body. He was found in a car which had crashed into a pole.

CLEVELAND — A 39-year-old man was shot and killed on Wednesday evening in Cleveland. Police said the man was found in the driver's seat of a crashed car.

At 7 p.m., callers reported hearing shots fired on London Road, near south Collinwood. When police arrived, they found a car crashed into a pole. Inside the car was the 39-year-old man.

The man had been shot in the head and body. Officers gave the man first aid, but EMS pronounced him dead at the crash site, a Cleveland police spokesperson said.

Residents near the crashed car told police they heard gunshots, but no arrests have been made.
