4 Explosives Found In Stop + Man Faces Child Pornography Charges

Here are the top stories today in Cleveland:
- A driver was taken into custody after state troopers found four homemade explosives in the front compartment of an SUV during a traffic stop on I-71 southbound at West 130th Street. The bomb squad of the Cleveland Division of Police, ATF, and Linndale police assisted with the traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle told troopers that the explosive devices were going to be used to kill rodents on a family farm. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at this time there is no belief that the incident is connected to any kind of domestic terrorism or public target. (News 5 Cleveland)
- The Cleveland Division of the FBI took an Indian Hills Senior Community resident into custody Thursday in connection to a child pornography investigation. John P. Comer will face charges of receiving and/or distributing visual depictions of real minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and possession of child pornography. Danielle Novak, managing director at Indian Hills Senior Community, previously reported that the facility is fully cooperating with the FBI investigation. (Cleveland 19 News)
- The Women's March Cleveland rally advocating for reproductive and civil rights will be held at noon today at Market Square in Ohio City. (News 5 Cleveland)
- A disabled semi-truck closed a stretch of Broadway Avenue yesterday, delaying I-271 drivers in Oakwood Village. (Cleveland 19 News)
