Here are the top stories today in Cleveland:
- 4 people were shot inside a Cleveland music studio yesterday afternoon. Cleveland police said the victims were inside a home that doubled as a music studio, in the 9200 block of Marshall Avenue. Authorities said someone began shooting from a nearby wooded area where they found multiple casings and an AR magazine. The four victims are currently being treated at local hospitals. (Cleveland 19 News)
- Five former Cleveland Cavaliers players are facing federal charges. A total of 18 former NBA players, including five who used to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers, were federally indicted on Thursday in connection to a multi-million dollar health care fraud scheme. Federal investigators said the players allegedly submitted fraudulent medical and dental claims to the NBA's Health and Welfare Benefit plan for a total of $4 million. (Cleveland 19 News)
- At 560.5 per 100,000 residents, Ohio's coronavirus cases have decreased for the second consecutive week. (cleveland.com)
- A Cleveland non-profit, Literacy in the H.O.O.D., has received a 'bookmobile' from Kelly Clarkson. (WKYC.com)
