40-Year-Old Woman Run Over, Killed After Fight In Cleveland
Police said the suspect in the case reported the fight to First District Police. She had glass in her face when talking to officers.

CLEVELAND — A woman was run over by a car and killed after a fight on Monday night in Cleveland, police said. The driver of the car is currently in police custody.
Police were called to Astor Avenue, on the city's west side Puritas-Longmead neighborhood, at about 5:45 p.m. on Monday. There were reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car after a fight.
When officers arrived they found the victim, a 40-year-old woman, and rushed her to a local hospital. The woman died of her injuries at the medical facility.

Witnesses said the woman and the suspect had gotten into a fight. The suspect then got into a car and ran over the woman, killing her.
The suspect showed up at the First District Police Station on Monday night to report the fight. She had glass wounds in her face.

Homicide investigators were notified and continue to investigate the incident.
