44-Year-Old Woman Murdered During Robbery in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, OH - Four unidentified men killed a woman during a robbery at Cooley Lounge, 3670 W. 130th St., on Oct. 25. A 44-year-old woman was killed after being shot in the head during the incident.

Police say that four men entered the bar and ordered drinks. Moments later, two of the men produced handguns and ordered everyone to the floor. A 38-year-old woman was whipped multiple times in the head after she attempted to call 911.

The 44-year-old ran to a back office and locked herself in. The men kicked the door down and shot her multiple times and then fled the scene.

When officers arrived they found the 44-year-old and the 38-year-old. They provided medical assistance until EMS arrived, then both women were transported to MetroHealth, where Brinker succumbed to her injuries. Witnesses were able to provide a description of events to police.
