5 Shootings Overnight In Cleveland, 1 Person Killed
Police said a 32-year-old man was shot to death on the city's west side at 11 p.m.

CLEVELAND — Five people were shot overnight in Cleveland. One of the victims died from their wounds, Cleveland police said.
The first shooting happened at 9:40 p.m. near E. 193rd Street and Cherokee Avenue. A 40-year-old man was shot and EMS took him to University Hospitals for treatment.
A second shooting happened on Stockbridge Avenue, about an hour after the first shooting. A 26-year-old man was shot and then taken to University Hospitals by EMS.

At 11 p.m., a 32-year-old man was shot to death on W. 73rd Street. The man was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS. Homicide detectives are investigating the killing and the shooting is still under investigation, police said. Investigators said they are not releasing any other information at this time.
In the early morning hours on Thursday, there were two shootings on W. 117th Street. At 2:30 a.m., a 37-year-old man was shot and then taken to MetroHealth Medical Center by EMS. Two hours later, at 4:30 a.m., a 28-year-old man was shot and taken to MetroHealth.

Both shootings took place near businesses on W. 117th: Lido Lounge and the nearby Advance Auto Parts.
