52-Year-Old Found Shot On Cleveland Sidewalk

Police said the 52-year-old man had a bullet wound to his chest.

CLEVELAND — A 52-year-old man was found shot on a sidewalk on E. 105th Street on Thursday night.

At 9:30 p.m., police were sent to E. 105th and Hampden after callers reported seeing a man shot. Police found the man on a sidewalk with a bullet wound to his chest. Officers gave the man first aid until EMS arrived.

The man was taken to University Hospitals, where he was later pronounced dead.

Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit are taking part in the investigation. No suspects have yet been identified. The Real Time Crime Center is also assisting the investigation.
