CLEVELAND, OH - A 66-year-old woman was found tied-up in her own home after she was robbed Sunday night. The incident took place on W. 46th Street.
The woman's daughter told police that she had come to check on her mother on Dec. 5 when she heard her yelling for help from inside the house. She went to the neighbor's and got the spare key and then rushed into the home. She found her mother bound with electrical tape and rope. She had been tied up for about 20 hours.
Police say their preliminary investigation revealed the woman was robbed Dec. 4 at about 5:30 p.m. Her assailant took her car and cell phone and left her bound inside the home. The woman suffered possible head wounds and received medical attention on the scene.
