7 More Inches Of Snow Could Fall In 2 Northeast Ohio Counties

The snow band got hammered Monday night. Residents shouldn't expect much reprieve until Wednesday.

Monday night brought the first heavy snow of the season for Northeast Ohioans that live in the snow band. Another flurry of snow could bring up to 7 inches on Tuesday night.

"The expectations are that light lake effect snow showers will persist through the day today before transitioning into a heavier lake effect snow event with a trough passage tonight into Wednesday before diminishing sometime on Wednesday night," the National Weather Service said in a Winter Weather Advisory.

The highest snow fall totals are expected in the hills of northern Geauga and eastern Ashtabula. The Advisory is in place until 4 a.m. on Thursday for those two counties.
