7 People Shot In Cleveland Feb. 20

Five teenagers were shot overnight in Cleveland. All of the incidents took place on the city's East Side.

CLEVELAND, OH - Feb. 20 was a bloody night in Cleveland. Seven people were shot, including five teenagers on the city's East Side.

The first incident took place at about 8 p.m. Police were called to E. 149th Street and Glendale Avenue for reports of a man being shot. When officers arrived they found 16-year-old with a gunshot wound in his stomach. Police provided medical treatment until EMS arrived. Witnesses said the victim was with a group of males in Glendale Park when the shooting occurred. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.

The second incident saw four teenagers and one adult get shot on E. 105th and Ostend Avenue. The incident was reported at about 8 p.m. as well. Witnesses told police that the victims were leaving a store located at 1082 E. 105 when an unknown person began shooting from a vehicle. A 14-year-old girl, a 16-year-old man, a 15-year-old woman, and a 17-year-old man were all shot in the legs. A 30-year-old man was also shot in the right knee.

The final incident took place on E.93rd Street at 11:52 p.m. A 24-year-old man was shot in the side and was rushed to University Hospitals. Police are investigating the incident.
