1 Dead, 7 Hurt After Club Shooting In Cleveland
Investigators believe a fight broke out during an event for local rappers and the altercation escalated out-of-control.

CLEVELAND — Eight people were shot at a bar in Cleveland on early Saturday morning, Cleveland Police said. One person died at the scene, the seven other wounded were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The shooting happened at Club X-Rated a little after 1 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 28-year-old woman was found near the back of the club with a gunshot wound to her head. She was bleeding and unresponsive. Police began to administer first aid while other officers searched the bar for suspects.
No suspects were found in Club X. Multiple EMS units were called to the scene and took victims to both MetroHealth and University Hospitals. Some victims had to be taken to the hospital via private auto, according to Cleveland Police.

Investigators believe there was an event for local rap artists being held at the Club that night. During the party, a fight broke out between attendees and one of the suspects began firing a gun. The fight spilled outside and more shots were fired.
Two vehicles were towed in connection with the incident, police said.

No arrests have yet been made and detectives are continuing to investigate the shootings.
