9-Year-Old Hit By Car While Getting Off School Bus In Cleveland
Police said the girl's leg is broken after the crash. Officers are now searching for the drivers of the car that hit her.
CLEVELAND — A 9-year-old girl was hit by a car as she got off her school bus on Thursday afternoon, Cleveland police announced. Investigators are now trying to identify the driver, who sped away after hitting the girl.
According to police, the crash broke the girl's leg. The collision happened near W. 73rd Street, a Cleveland police spokesperson said.
The car that hit the girl was an orange Kia Soul. The car was later found abandoned in the 3500 block of W. 91st street.

Officers canvassed the neighborhood and got video of two men, possibly teenagers, who are believed to have been driving the Kia, police said. Someone picked the men up and drove them away, police said.
