9-Year-Old Girl Killed During Shooting In Cleveland
Police are looking for information on two persons of interest believed to be connected to the shooting.

CLEVELAND, OH — A 9-year-old girl was shot and killed in Cleveland on Wednesday night. Police said the girl was shot in the head. Officers are now looking for information on two men believed to be connected to the killing.
At about 7:15 p.m., police received reports of shots fired in the 4000 block of Lee Road. When officers arrived, they found the 9-year-old girl, with a gunshot wound to her forehead. She was rushed to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children, where she was pronounced dead.
The girl's mother had parked her car on the street while she went to pick up her son from a boxing club, police said. The 9-year-old's adult sister was also in the car.

Gunfire erupted and the 9-year-old was struck in the head.
Members of Cleveland Police's Homicide Unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office were called to the scene as part of the investigation. Police are now looking to identify two men who may be connected to the 9-year-old's killing.
