"StubHub provides superior and consistent service for our fans, along with the most secure purchasing option on the secondary market," said Tim Salcer, Indians Vice President of Sales and Service. "This requirement will protect our fans who must purchase on the secondary market."
The Indians are currently 98-59, 2.5 games back of the Los Angeles Dodges for best record in baseball, and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Tribe have five games remaining in the regular season.
Should the Tribe win the ALDS, they would advance to the American League Championship Series, which would start Oct. 14. The World Series would begin Oct. 24.
