Almost 15,000 Northeast Ohioans Without Power
A burst of snowy weather has left nearly 15,000 without power. FirstEnergy is saying power will be restored between 11 a.m. and noon.

CLEVELAND, OH - Nearly 15,000 Northeast Ohioans are currently without power due to winter weather. FirstEnergy says it expects to restore power to a majority of its customers between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service is predicting the snow will taper off beginning at 4 p.m., as temperatures start to rise. Total snow accumulation is predicted to be between one and two inches. Expect a mixture of rain and sleet falling from 4 p.m. on. The high for Friday is expected to be about 40 degrees.

This evening will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 30 degrees. Winds are expected to hit about 10 mph.
The weekend will warm up considerably. Saturday is expected to be sunny with a high of 55 degrees. Saturday evening will see temperatures drop into the low 40s.

Sunday promises a return to Spring weather. Temperatures are expected to hit the high 60s, though the region has a 20 percent chance of seeing more rain showers. Winds are expected to hit 13 mph throughout the day.
