• Think[box] shaping the next generation of innovators (spectrumnews1.com) — Cleveland residents can use Case Western Reserve's Sears think[box] for free, gaining access to tools, legal guidance, and support to turn ideas into real products or businesses. Local entrepreneur Michael "Lil Mike" Crawford shows how the space transformed his work and now invites neighborhood kids and adults to explore hands-on making, from laser-cut keychains to custom bags, while building confidence and creativity.
   

• College students can register for fall FBI Cleveland Collegiate Academy (news-herald.com) — College students in and around Cleveland can apply now for the free, one-day FBI Cleveland Collegiate Academy, held Nov. 6 at the FBI's Lakeside Avenue headquarters. Sophomores through graduate students with at least a 3.0 GPA can explore careers, meet agents, and learn about cyber threats and investigations, but applications must be emailed by Sept. 25.
   

• Lake sturgeon are reintroduced into the Cuyahoga River in Akron (signalakron.org) — Work to restore the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie near Cleveland is paying off, with hundreds of juvenile lake sturgeon now being reintroduced and tracked from Akron to Rivergate Park in the Flats. Cleveland Metroparks and federal scientists report the fish are thriving near Cleveland harbor, raising hopes they'll eventually return to spawn and signal a fully recovered waterway.
