CLEVELAND — Between Jan. 5 and Jan. 7, a man wearing a black ski mask committed four robberies in Cleveland. The man robbed a Dollar General, twice, a 7-Eleven Gas Station and a KFC at gunpoint.

The suspect is described as a black man, standing approximately 5 feet five inches tall, and weighing about 145 pounds. During the robberies, he wore black pants, a black zip-up hoodie, a ski mask (sometimes black and sometimes white in color) and black shoes with orange tips.

The first robbery happened at 1:15 p.m. on Jan. 5. An armed man, wearing a ski mask, rushed into the Dollar General on Lakeshore Boulevard, pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded the money in the cash register. After getting approximately $300 in cash, the man ran out of the store.

The suspect pointed a handgun at the employee and told her to go to the cash register. He then demanded all of the money in the drawers, which the employee handed to him. He then ordered her to open a second cash register, empty it, and give him the money.

Police said a second suspect interrupted the robbery, opening the door and signalling the masked suspect to finish. The duo then ran out of the store.

On Monday, he returned to the Dollar General on Lakeshore Boulevard. The robber again pointed a handgun at an employee, told them to empty the cash register and then made off with about $300, according to Cleveland police.

On Tuesday night, the suspect robbed a KFC on Lakeshore Boulevard. Wearing a white mask over his face, and a black hoodie, the suspect walked into the restaurant, locked the door behind him, and then pointed a gun at employees.

He picked out one employee and told him to lead him to the restaurant's safe. He then emptied the safe into a backpack and ran out of the store.
