Armed Robbers Hit Subway On Cleveland's Lakeshore Boulevard
Police are asking the public for help locating the two suspects.
CLEVELAND, OH — Two men robbed a Subway restaurant in Cleveland on Friday. Police are asking the public for help identifying the two suspects.
The robbery happened at about 11:40 a.m. Video surveillance of the incident shows two masked men walk into the sandwich shop and quickly jump over the counter, aiming a gun at an unseen employee. One of the masked men starts emptying cash out of the register while the other points a gun down a hallway.
According to a police report obtained by Patch, the men got out of a gray car with the license plate ECX58895. A witness saw the vehicle head south on E. 152nd Street.

The two witnesses are both black men. The first suspect was about five feet five inches tall, wearing a gray hoodie, a red face mask, black leather jacket, blue jeans and tan working boots. He was waving around a silver handgun, possibly a revolver.
The second suspect was about six feet tall, wearing a black hoodie, a dark gray face mask, black sweatpants, and white tennis shoes, with a dark color logo on the shoes.
