CLEVELAND, OH — Police arrested a man for allegedly bringing a gun to Glenville High School on Wednesday. The man may be an 18-year-old junior at the school, a Cleveland Police spokesperson said in an email. The Cleveland School Board has not confirmed that the student had the gun at the school.
Officers were called to the school at about 2 p.m. The suspect was seen near St. Clair and was arrested shortly after. Police found a loaded .9 mm handgun in his possession.
A student at the high school contacted their parent about seeing the gun. The parent then contacted police and officers were sent to the scene. The suspect was then taken into custody a short while later.
