Arts Conference Coming To Cleveland In 2020

The Ohio Arts Professional Network will hold its conference at Music Box Supper Club next year.

From OAPN: The Ohio Arts Professionals Network (OAPN) is pleased to announce its 2020 Performing Arts conference will take place on October 18-20, 2020 in Cleveland, OH. The event will be hosted at the Music Box Supper Club and Aloft Hotels.

Jessica Rosenblatt, the organization's new Executive Director and Cleveland-native, is excited to bring OAPN to Cleveland for the first time. This members-only, biennial conference connects presenters with booking agents and artists who will have many opportunities to network with industry professionals throughout the event. There will be 24 official artist showcases, which will take place at the Music Box Supper Club, over the course of the three-day conference. Professional Development courses to benefit artists, agents and presenters will take place on Sunday, October 18th at Aloft Hotels.

Aloft Hotels will offer members a discounted room rate which is extended to attendees on a first come first serve basis. Aloft Hotels will also offer a free shuttle to drive guests the one-mile trip to and from the music venue and hotel.
OAPN is open to performing artists of all backgrounds including solo acts, magicians, comedians, dance groups and musical groups of various genres. Artists interested in submitting for an official showcase will need to apply to OAPN's official 'Call for Artists' in March 2020. OAPN will sell day passes for local musicians and artists who want to attend the showcases, networking events, and professional development courses.

Founded in 1960, the Ohio Arts Professionals Network (OAPN) provides a forum for artists and presenters to develop business relationships, create partnerships and cooperative ventures among organizations that present arts and entertainment programming.
