Bank Robber Wears Pink Wig, Hits Cleveland Bank

The FBI released images of a man that robbed First National Bank on Clifton Boulevard on Thursday morning.

CLEVELAND — The First National Bank on Clifton Boulevard in Cleveland was robbed Thursday morning, the FBI announced.

The bank, located at 11010 Clifton, was robbed at gunpoint by a man wearing a pink wig and hospital scrubs. The man gave a note to one of the tellers demanding money and then threatened her.

The man then went to a second teller, pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and received the money. The man was seen running west on Clifton after he left the bank.

The FBI did not disclose how much money was stolen.

The suspect was a black man in his early to mid-20s, the FBI said. He stands six feet tall, with a slim build.

Tips can be provided anonymously to the Cleveland Division of the FBI, the Cleveland Police or Crime Stoppers. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible.
