Big Temperature Swing This Week In Northeast Ohio: Forecast

Scattered showers and massive temperature swings could wreak havoc on your sinuses.

CLEVELAND — Big temperature swings will mark the beginning of October in Northeast Ohio.

Temperatures could fluctuate nearly 30 degrees in a day this week, according to current forecasts from the National Weather Service. On Monday, for instance, Greater Clevelanders should expect a high of nearly 80 degrees and a low of nearly 50 degrees. That's a 30 degree temperature swing in 24 hours. Prepare your sinuses.

Scattered showers are also possible throughout the work week, forecasts show. As temperatures begin to level off, around 55 degrees, the rain should begin to dissipate.

By the end of the work week, Northeast Ohio will have highs in the mid-50s and lows in the mid-40s, forecasts show. The official start to fall will see temperatures nuzzle into a new, chillier norm.
