Blackout Won't Stop Cleveland Indians Baseball
The Tribe's game against the Minnesota Twins in Puerto Rico will go on (probably) despite an island-wide collapse of the electrical system.

CLEVELAND, OH — Despite an island-wide blackout, the game between the Cleveland Indians and the Minnesota Twins in Puerto Rico will be played, according to one official. The island's entire electrical system collapsed on Wednesday, but San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz says all emergency systems at Hiram Bithorn Stadium have been tested and are fully functional.
"The game will GO ON. Nothing will stop us," she wrote on Twitter.
The Twins lost to the Indians 6-1 Tuesday at a packed Hiram Bithorn Stadium. The first pitch in Wednesday's game is set for 6:10 p.m. central time.
