Here are the top stories today in Cleveland:

1. A 55-year-old Cleveland man is facing charges after stabbing a group home resident early Sunday morning. Officers responded to a duplex on the 1500 block of East 84th Street shortly after midnight and found what appeared to be blood on the front porch of the home, according to a police report. When officers found the suspect inside the group home residence, they saw that he had blood on his arms. A detective later discovered a bloody pocket knife under a mattress in the suspect's room. 2. On Monday in a Cleveland federal courtroom, the nation's legal reckoning over the opioid crisis shifts to four name-brand pharmacy chains: CVS, Giant Eagle, Walgreens, and Walmart. The trial, which involves Lake and Trumbull Counties, is widely considered a "bellwether" test case for future trials. The companies face more than 3,300 similar lawsuits filed by local and state governments nationwide. (NPR)
3. The 8th District Court of Appeals ruled that a Cleveland man could not sue his now-wife after he tripped on her shoes and fell down a set of stairs. (Cleveland Patch)
4. A North Olmsted business owner, who has been accused of sexually assaulting his female employees, was indicted by the Cuyahoga County Grand Jury on additional charges of gross sexual imposition. (Cleveland 19 News)
