Bloomberg: Ohio Billionaire Is Among World’s Richest

DAYTON, OH — The Bloomberg Billionaire Index tracks the world’s 500 richest people on an almost continuous basis, with the figures getting updated after the close of every trading day at the New York Stock Exchange.

To no one's surprise, Jeff Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon, maintained his spot as the richest person in the world. Overall, 176 of the 500 richest individuals are American, and United States citizens also make up seven of the top 10 richest people globally.

In Ohio, only one person made the list of the 500 richest people in the world: Les Wexner.

Wexner's wealth could buy:
