1. Plans for the 2022 Cleveland National Air Show are taking off. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels have announced that they will make a return to Cleveland this week in preparation for next year's event. Two members of the squadron are scheduled to do a flyover this morning, with the team landing at Burke Lakefront Airport at 10:10 a.m. (WKYC)
2. In the greater Cleveland area, there are more than 250 open positions listed for welders, a skilled labor position facing a major shortage. A career center in Middleburg Heights is doing its part to help fill the industry demand. Polaris Career Center offers a two-year program to high school juniors and seniors in Cleveland and the surrounding suburbs, offering practical coursework and internships that provide the necessary experience.
