CLEVELAND – A 24-year-old Cleveland man has been arrested and remains in custody after police say workers found a man’s body wrapped in a blanket on a loading dock on Friday afternoon after he had been shot multiple times, police said Monday.

The victim’s identity has not been released, but police said the 29-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds to his back and face. The man was discovered on the loading dock in the 9900 block of Elk Avenue around noon after employees found the man when they reported to work. The man was pronounced dead at the location.

An investigation into the discovery of the body prompted police to obtain a search warrant for a residence in the 700 block of E. 93rd Street. Police identified and arrested the 24-year-old suspect whose identity has not been released by police. Several other people were interviewed by police at the location regarding the shooting.
