Here are the top three stories in Cleveland today:
- The Cleveland Police Department found a body in Lake Erie on Wednesday. The department responded to the 1500 block of North Marginal Road. The department has reportedly not been able to release the body's gender or age at this time. (Cleveland 19 News)
- A Cleveland attorney has been given a two-year suspension after signing a client's plea deal and lying about it. The suspension was given by the Ohio Supreme Court to Samuel Ray Smith II after it was found that he committed 15 ethical violations in four separate cases. Smith will be able to seek reinstatement after serving 18 months of the suspension if he pays disciplinary costs and proves he has not committed further misconduct. (cleveland.com)
- A wrong-way detection system will be installed on stretches of I-71 and I-90 in 2023. The system will include wrong-way signs that flash and 50 detection devices positioned at 25 different locations.
