Bomb Threat Ends Peacefully At Cleveland Restaurant
A man claimed to have a bomb in his backpack while inside a restaurant in Cleveland, police said.
CLEVELAND — A stand-off between police and a man who claimed to have a bomb in his possession has ended peacefully, Cleveland police announced. The man has been taken to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon at Gino's Cento Anno, a restaurant and bar on Denison Avenue, Cleveland police said. A 68-year-old man claimed he had a bomb in his backpack.
By 1:30 p.m. the man had come out of Gino's and was taken by police to MetroHealth Medical Center for an evaluation.
